Spector is showing backbone by standing up to his party and doing the right thing. Thank you Senator Spector. If it were not for my "No More Republicans" policy, I would probably vote for you in 2010.
Specter isn't showing any backbone. He's been a RINO for years and this is par for the course for him. But my advice to him is to retire before 2010, b/c he isn't going to get re-elected. And it's about time.
And to your "No More Republicans" vow...why don't you just throw out the baby with the bathwater. Whatever happened to voting for the best candidate? Guess you've moved from being an independent thinker to a narrow minded and spiteful democrat. Or RINO. Or whatever the heck you call yourself.

As far as the baby in the bathwater, that baby got sucked down the drain a long time ago. I guess I moved from being an independent thinker to a narrow minded and spiteful democrat around the same time the Republican base started expelling moderates from the party for being RINOs. :)
